The sheath shows the hand-carved kanji (signs) „Generosity, Compassion and Sincerity“. When pulling the sword with the decorative cutting edge and the carbon steel handle, you can discover further kanjis that are deeply embossed in the blade. These signs mean: „Since ancient times, God is with those serving with honor and dignity“. The anthracite tsuba and the traditionally wrapped handle complete the dignified overall picture.
